BingX EU has submitted an application for authorisation as a crypto-asset service provider under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 on Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCAR) to the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA), as the competent authority in Austria.
The application is currently subject to regulatory review and has progressed to an advanced stage of the authorisation process. No MiCAR authorisation has been granted at this stage, but BingX EU is working closely with the FMA to fulfil any outstanding queries the FMA has.
Subject to obtaining the required authorisation and completing all applicable regulatory steps, BingX EU intends to provide crypto-asset services in the European Union in accordance with MiCAR.
Customer assets on BingX remain subject to the applicable custody, safeguarding and contractual arrangements. BingX will provide further updates on material developments regarding the authorisation process where appropriate.
