Most BingX account features support identity verification with passkeys on various devices. After you add a passkey, you can use it for identity verification on all linked devices. Compared with using only a password, verification with passkeys is more secure and faster, helping protect your account.
1. Before you start: Confirm device compatibility
Before setting up passkeys, confirm that your device meets the following requirements:
Platform |
Requirements |
| iOS system | iOS 16.0 or above |
| Android system | Android 9.0 or above |
| Web | Supports mainstream browsers such as Chrome, Safari, and Edge |
| H5 / Mobile Web | Android: 4.80 or above is supported iOS: Supported |
You can add a passkey using iCloud Keychain, a USB security key, your phone's lock screen passcode or PIN, or another device (such as another phone).
2. How to add passkeys in the app?
Step 1: Go to the settings entry point
- Log in to the BingX app.
- Tap "Security Center" > "Passkeys"
Step 2: Add Passkey and complete identity verification
Tap Add Passkey. The system will ask you to complete your existing security verification (verification code + Google Authenticator, etc.) to confirm that you are performing the action yourself.
- About where passkeys are stored
Summary:
- Users with the iOS system -> Choose iCloud Keychain.
- Users who use iOS + Windows/Android -> Choose Google Password Manager or a hardware security key.
- Users who need the highest security and do not rely on the cloud -> Choose a USB/NFC security key.
- Temporary login on another person's device -> Use other device verification (scan the QR code).

Strong cross-platform compatibility. Sign in to the same Google Account to sync and use it across devices. |

Step 3: Added successfully & optional features
After the passkeys are created successfully, you can go to "Security Center → Passkeys" to view the list of linked passkeys.
After creation, the system will prompt you to enable the "Must verify using passkeys for important scenarios" feature (mandatory passkey verification). For details, see Section 4 below.
3. How to add a passkey on the BingX official website?
You can use a browser that supports this feature, such as the latest Chrome browser, to add a passkey to your BingX account. The creation process is similar to the steps on the BingX App. You can use your computer password or biometric authentication, such as fingerprint ID, a USB security key, or another device, such as your phone, to create the passkey.
Web:
-
Log in to your BingX account, hover over the profile icon in the upper-right corner, then click "Security Center".
-
Go to "Security Verification Options" and click "Add" next to "Passkeys".
-
Click "Add Passkey".
- You may need to complete two-factor authentication (2FA) before continuing to the next step.
-
The browser will display a pop-up window. Confirm where you want to save your passkeys.

7. Security tips and precautions
Be sure to read the following security information
-
Do not set up passkeys on public devices
Passkeys are deeply bound to devices. Set up passkeys only on personal devices that you own and use long term.
-
Enable the device screen lock
The security of passkeys depends on the device's biometric authentication or PIN, so make sure screen lock is enabled.
-
iCloud Keychain sync security
If you use iCloud Keychain to sync keys, make sure your Apple ID has two-factor authentication enabled to prevent your Apple ID from being compromised and exposing all device keys.
-
Take action before changing devices
Before selling or transferring your old device, delete the passkeys for that device in BingX first, then create a new passkey on your new device.
-
Traditional verification is still required in special cases
In special cases, such as when an account has security risks or an extra-large withdrawal (100,000 USDT or above), the system may require both passkey and traditional two-factor authentication (2FA) verification. This is a normal security mechanism.
-
TradingView(TV) login restrictions
If you enable "Must verify using passkeys for important scenarios", the TradingView login channel does not currently support passkey verification, and you will not be able to log in. To use TradingView, first turn off the "Must verify using passkeys for important scenarios" feature on the app or desktop, then connect again.

Q3: What restrictions apply after enabling "Must verify using passkeys for important scenarios"?
After it is enabled:
- TradingView (TV) login is not supported. To use TradingView, turn off "Must verify using passkeys for important scenarios".
- Passkey verification is mandatory in the following 7 scenarios: login, withdrawal, enabling or disabling "Must verify using passkeys for important scenarios", adding or deleting a passkey, adding a withdrawal address book, and creating or editing an API key.
Q4: Why does the message "This device has no available or saved passkey" appear?
This message indicates that the current device cannot retrieve a valid passkey for verification. This is usually caused by the following reasons:
Reason |
Description |
Solutions |
| Apple ID mismatch (iOS only) | The passkey is stored under one Apple ID, but the current device is signed in to another Apple ID, so the passkey cannot be retrieved. | Switch back to the Apple ID used when adding the passkey, then try again. |
| Changed device | The passkey has not been synced or stored on the new device. | Use the original device that has the passkey stored to complete verification. |
| Passkey has been deleted | The passkey was deleted manually or by mistake in the password manager. |
Log in using another verification method (such as an SMS verification code), or reset your account passkey. Reset link: 1. Open https://bingx.com/security/reset 2. Select "Passkey" 3. Follow the on-page instructions to submit a removal request. |
Q5: How many passkeys can one account link?
- An account can link multiple passkeys on the same device.
- An account can create one passkey on each of multiple devices, with no limit on the number of passkeys.
- Multiple accounts can also link their respective passkeys on the same device.
We recommend creating one passkey on each of at least two devices as a backup in case one device becomes unavailable.
Q6: What are the prerequisites for setting up passkeys?
- The account must have at least two security verification options linked (any two of email address, phone number, and Google Authenticator) before you can set up passkeys.
Q7: I switched to a new phone. Can I still use the passkey?
- iOS users: Passkeys that use iCloud Keychain will automatically sync to the new device (you must be signed in with the same Apple ID).
- Android users: Make sure you are signed in to the same Google Account. Passkeys can be synced through Google Password Manager.
- If syncing is unavailable: Delete the old passkey and create a new one on the new device.
